When the Cowries Sing

Once upon a time the cowries had songs that would spread all over the earth. Their songs would be recognized by mighty beings and create ripple effects of healing, abundance & insight. The cowry shells are still here with us and very unique beings. When used in a ceremonial way they open a portal to different dimensions where messages can be brought forth. When used ceremonially, they sing.

In this ceremony we will gather together for a cowry shell divination led by Ama, specifically to see which energies need to be cleared as a group. The energies that are in our energy fields or physical bodies, but no longer serve us or even block us. During the cowry shell divination messages for the group as a whole will come through in words and images. Everything that needs to come through, will be said. Some messages might be difficult to understand at first & might only make sense days, even weeks, later.

We will offer the messages and the energies that came through the divination to the healing powers of sound. A profound sound healing experience led by Rebecca is what will follow, so that the energies that need to be cleared will be cleared. So that healing can take place. Some instruments can be used, or voice can be used. It is the guidance of spirit that is followed to create the best healing container. During the sound healing journey it is possible different spirit beings will be present and work together with the vibrations of the sound to aid the healing process.

During the cowry shell divination you can sit down and listen with respect to the messages so your being can receive them. During the sound healing you can choose to lie down on a couch or bed to receive the clearing. We will create a safe container during the whole ceremony for you to receive the messages and to receive the healing.

This ceremony is very potent & transformational.

Because of the deep spiritual and energy shifting work that happens during the ceremony, we ask you to not plan anything active or intense after, so that you can be gentle with yourself and process and integrate the whole experience. Sometimes it might rationally feel as if nothing really happened, meanwhile a whole mountain has been moved on an energetic, spiritual level. Taking care of ourselves and our bodies helps the integration process.

Facilitators: 

Rebecca Hanratty is a deeply feeling woman who listens to the whispers of spirit and is guided by the current of life-giving waters. She loves to laugh and giggle with spirits. Born in Canada, she has lived in many different provinces and cities, and now resides in Treaty No. 6 Terrority (Edmonton, Alberta).  Rebecca is a certified intuitive coach, certified sound healer with a focus on shamanic practices, an energy healer with a speciality in past life integration, generational healing, inner child work and land healing, and is a certified holistic nutritional practitioner. Her spiritual practice is with multi-dimensional beings including, and not limited to:  Ancestors, Land Spirits, Star Beings, the Little People and Mother Earth.  During sound sessions these sacred beings, along with her spirit, emit frequencies through Rebeccas voice, body, and use of instruments that generate transformational experiences for the receiver. She loves her work, seeing people reclaim their power, experience relief, remember their abilities and co-create with the multiverse.

Ama Boakye is a joyful woman who loves the wonders of life and the teachings of nature. She is born and raised in Belgium, has lived in different countries in South America, but is based in Ghana now. Ama is an aurareader, intuitive coach, inner child healing facilitator, groupritual facilitator, shiatsu practitioner and she does cowry shell sessions for both individuals and groups. She supports people in different ways in their personal and spiritual growth.  Ama likes learning from her ancestors in the spirit realm & tuning in with nature spirits. She loves to witness transformation in people, especially when people start to live more in their strength and talents and closer to their spirit. She also likes to write & listen to peoples’ lifestories.

Important information:

• This event will be in English.
• The Zoomlink will be sent the day before the ceremony. See that you can have your own space during this time and that you won't be disturbed.
• Please calculate the timing of the event (2 PM, GMT +0, Accra) to your own timezone 
• The gathering will last in between 1 and 1,5 hours, but as we follow the guidance of spirit the duration could be less or more. We advise to allocate 2 hours, just in case, but also to have integration time.
• The audio recording of the ceremony will be sent to you afterwards so that you can relisten to it if you want to. If you can’t be present at the ceremony but still really want to experience this transformational healing journey, then you can also buy your ticket & listen to the audio recording to receive the experience. The healing during the recording will be as potent because we include you in the container during the ceremony itself.
