Why inner child work?
In our lives we sometimes keep on attracting and experiencing the same pain over and over again. Most of the time the pain we experience is a repetition of pain we already experienced as a baby or a child. Or even in the womb. When this pain arises again in a situation, we often go into the roll of a victim. `Why is this happening to me?`. As long as we stay in this position it is difficult to understand that we have the power to change certain situations ourselves.

The more we heal pain, fear, anger, grief or insecurity that lives within ourselves, the more our outer reality and situations can change too. This is something that is a journey for life. I sometimes think of an onion when I think about myself and certain things I am healing within myself. The first moments I consciously started healing something, the first layers fell off. Every time I commit to healing that thing, more layers fall off. I also feel less triggers or less pain around it in situations. I feel now I am closer to the root, but still I consciously want to work around it. With other things I am super close to the root or I have changed the situation completely.

For me this happened when I was always in pain because I fell for unavailable men and always felt rejected in romantic relationships. Longing for love but never really getting the love I wanted.

I started doing Inner child work on myself. I connected with the beautiful child within me, the one you see on the picture. The child that is so innocent but also hurt. Doing inner child healing on myself brought me back to experiences in my own childhood with an absent father. It brought me back to the pain. It wasn't nice to go through these experiences, but it helped me heal the pain. It made me realize that those unreachable men in my current life were a reflection of my absent, unreachable father in my youth. It took me a while, but conscious commitment to my own inner child healing changed my unhealthy relationship patterns.  Now I am in a beautiful relationship with an available, mature, wonderful man.

Sometimes I still have a light trigger, but I recognize it immediately. Then I know what to do and because of that, the trigger is gone, just as quickly as it came. Connecting with the child within me, also gave me back more joy and playfulness.

What is inner child work?
Inner child work is a very profound way of healing certain pains, traumas, fears, insecurities, sadness, numbness, confusion and other uncomfortable emotions. A lot of times the triggers we have in our lives our the best `signs` that there is something that can be healed. There is a child within us that never grew up, still has some wounded parts. Inner child work can be done in different ways, it is about connecting with the child within you. Hearing that child, seeing that child.


The more we connect and work with this child within us, the more we are in the process of healing.


How does an inner child healing work?

We connect online, through zoom.


First, we will talk about the topic, trigger, pain you want to work around. If you can`t choose and you have more issues that are present, we can choose one together.


After that, I will lead you through a guided visualization exercise where your own inner child will guide you to what needs to be healed. I am guiding you along the way. The technique used is based on Regression meditation & the Completion Process.

The session can be between 1 hour and 2 hours. I follow the rhythm of your inner child and because of that the timing can be different for everyone or every session. I only finalize the session once I perceive energetically that a healing has occurred.


The price for an inner child session is 122 euros.

What difference will it make to do an inner child healing?

An inner child work session with me can bring up deep, unconscious emotions and therefore deep healing. Sometimes we can't understand with our mind which healing occurred. But during every session some healing happens!


Furthermore, it can be difficult to access deeper emotions in your unconscious on your own or by conversations or talking therapy only. I will be there with you the whole time to guide you and to assure you while you go through your process. Anything that happens during the session, is what needs to happen.


During this guided visualization you have your eyes closed and you can lie down on your bed or a couch. You can be in your own environment. This makes the circumstance for this very comfortable and safe to do this work.


I find it important that my clients don't depend on me or my services but become independent and empowered to continue there own journey ! The cool thing about this visualization inner child exercise is that while you experience it, you also get to know the technique which means you can also use it on your own after the session. Some people like to continue with someone guiding them in inner child healing, but you have the chance to do just one session and to continue yourself afterwards!
