I was 18 years old & living in Peru.

I lived in Trujillo, more in the Northern part of Peru, but I was traveling around with 10 other people, we were a really big group.

When we arrived in Arequipa, a beautiful city in the Southern part of Peru, something crazy happened!

And I share that story in my newest podcast episode of Under The Baobab Tree to make an important point.

The podcast episode is called “Don’t give your power away” and it’s one of the most liberating and empowering episodes if you ask me.

It’s actually about feeling like a victim. I am sure we all feel like that sometimes.

And yes, we can be a victim in certain situations; that is very true. But there is also the pitfall that we linger in that energy for too long, and then it actually becomes a blockage.

Eventually, we want to feel empowered and move forward, don't we? Coming out of victimhood and taking your power back can be enormously helpful in this.

Listen to this episode to learn more about it! It's just 10 minutes of your time.

Check it out on my website, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or on your favorite podcast platform

On the picture you see the 18 year old me, traveling in the South of Peru.

When I look at her, I feel a lot of love. I have grown so much. I am so very different - and simultaneously still the same.
